Agile Developer 3 (Java/AWS)

What you will do

• Modernize a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture.
• Analyze, design, verify, validate, implement, and maintain complex software systems.
• Develop Java Spring Boot microservices and REST services for filtering and selecting complex data objects.
• Use Python to optimize AWS services, including Lambda, Step Functions, EC2, and S3.
• Implement CI/CD practices with Maven, GitLab, GitOps, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Create documentation and training materials, and present briefings and demonstrations to stakeholders.

Requirements

• United States citizenship and an appropriate security clearance are required.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with an agency-appropriate polygraph is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent combined education and experience.
• At least 9 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree plus 7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Python, cloud development, CI/CD tools, Kubernetes, Docker, and rules engines.
• Effective communication and collaboration with engineers and stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS Lambda, Step Functions, S3, MongoDB, OpenSearch, RDS, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or Cucumber testing.
