Mid/Sr Software Developer (AWS)

Salary: $118,000–$225,560 USD annually

What you will do

• Support, plan, and execute the software development approach for a Major Systems Application and its operations and maintenance support.
• Design, develop, test, and analyze the performance of software services and systems.
• Build containerized microservices within a modern AWS-based architecture using CI/CD practices.
• Develop space domain awareness capabilities, including observation scoring and “truth” data generation through data-fusion processes.
• Integrate scoring and fusion processes into the overall system and develop workflows for updating the RSO database.
• Support systems engineering, solution engineering, system design, and software development efforts.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI access and a CI polygraph are required.
• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, information systems, or an equivalent field, or equivalent experience.
• At least five years of software engineering or software development experience for information technology systems.
• Experience with object-oriented programming, including Java, JEE, C++, or Python.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Mockito, Lombok, OpenAPI/Swagger, RESTful services, microservices, and containerization.
• Experience supporting systems engineering efforts in system design, solution engineering, and software development.

Nice to have

• Experience with Git, Gradle, Kafka, MongoDB, ActiveMQ, NiFi, Kubernetes, Helm Charts, AWS, Linux, or command-line interfaces.
• Security+ or DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification.
