Location: Batavia, New York, USA; on-site, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Salary: USD 40,000–59,000 per year

What you will do

• Inspect incoming raw materials and in-process products against sampling plans, engineering drawings, and specifications.
• Perform first-piece inspections, customer and supplier PPAP dimensional layouts, and defect analysis.
• Operate inspection equipment including calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, microscopes, gauges, and CMM systems.
• Maintain inspection records, gauge control and calibration, revision-controlled inspection plans, and master bubbles.
• Conduct process capability studies and support dock audits, process audits, GP 12, safe launch, containment, and sorting activities.
• Support Quality, Production, PPE, and Maintenance teams while contributing to zero-defect and HSE objectives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of quality inspection experience.
• Required knowledge of blueprints, GD&T, and metrology.
• Experience or knowledge of PPAP and GP 12 / Safe Launch processes.
• Ability to use calendar, email, internet, and spreadsheet software; experience with SolidWorks and Microsoft Access.
• Ability to work on-site in Batavia, New York, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.
