Quality Inspector I (MedTech)

Salary: $38,500–$61,985 per year

What you will do

• Inspect and sort purchased materials, parts, and components using visual, physical, mechanical, and electrical measurements.
• Perform visual inspections of large lots under a microscope.
• Document inspection and testing results accurately.
• Maintain controlled documents and test records.
• Enter inspection data into associated systems and support Operations as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Up to one year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to use inspection gauges and microscopes.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs and inspection procedures.
• Basic mathematics, verbal and written communication, computer literacy, and working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of ISO and GMP standards.

Nice to have

• Medical device experience.
• Knowledge of US FDA 21 CFR QSR and ISO 13485.
• Continuous improvement mindset and quality systems documentation experience.
