Production Planner II (Manufacturing)

Location: Blue Ops, Valdosta, Georgia, United States; onsite manufacturing environment

What you will do

• Maintain project, task, schedule, and priority logs.
• Create and execute daily, weekly, and long-range production schedules based on forecasts, orders, and capacity.
• Coordinate production, materials, engineering, and quality teams on timelines, materials, machine time, labor, and priorities.
• Manage MRP/ERP parameters, work orders, BOMs, routings, lead times, and lot sizes.
• Resolve shortages, downtime, engineering changes, priority shifts, and other production disruptions.
• Analyze adherence, throughput, and cycle-time KPIs while supporting workflow optimization and lean manufacturing.

Requirements

• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple schedules, priorities, and deadlines accurately.
• Ability to interpret sales forecasts, capacity data, BOMs, routings, and production metrics.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or Epicor is preferred.
• ITAR/EAR-restricted work requires proof of U.S. citizenship or permanent residence and no need for sponsorship.

• Familiarity with manufacturing or production environments.
