Maintenance Technician - Island Club

Location: Oceanside, California, USA; onsite at the Island Club apartment community

Salary: $24.00–$25.00 per hour, plus potential customer service satisfaction bonuses of up to $250 per quarter.

What you will do

• Complete basic apartment turns and prepare units for new residents.
• Respond to resident repair requests and perform routine maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair or replace plumbing, basic electrical components, HVAC equipment, appliances, and other building systems.
• Provide technical direction and training to other Maintenance Technicians when needed.
• Support vendor quality management and perform move-in and move-out inspections.
• Provide responsive service to residents and assist the maintenance team with community needs.

Requirements

• At least two years of maintenance experience, preferably in facilities or building environments.
• Proficiency in at least two technical trades, such as plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC, or carpentry.
• Ability to work onsite in Oceanside, California, including evenings, weekends, seven-day work weeks when needed, and on-call shifts at least one week per month.
• Reliable transportation for emergency service requests during on-call periods.
• Ability to move heavy equipment and machinery and perform physical maintenance work.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
