Maintenance Technician - Engineering (HVAC-R)

Location: Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Bristol, Virginia, United States; onsite

What you will do

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance across HVAC-R, electronic, electrical, air, water, and other equipment systems.
• Complete general maintenance service calls, repairs, work orders, and daily technical documentation.
• Repair and maintain plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, doors, furniture, flooring, drywall, and related facility components.
• Set up and tear down events safely and according to diagrams; move furniture and equipment as required.
• Operate ladders, aerial lifts, trucks, tools, and light motorized equipment while following safety procedures.
• Support guest service and mentor team members in a casino and hotel environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, spray equipment, and safe hazardous-material handling.
• Ability to operate an aerial lift, communicate effectively, follow written and oral instructions, and interpret maintenance and safety documents.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening and be at least 21 years old.
• Must be available for holidays, weekends, flexible shifts, and unusual hours; required licenses and certifications must be maintained.
