Operations Manager - Day Shift (Distribution)

Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA; onsite distribution center role. Primarily day shift with flexibility for evenings and weekends.

Salary: $97,201–$123,251 annually.

What you will do

• Manage daily operations across assigned distribution center departments within payroll guidelines and budgets.
• Coach, counsel, and develop operations supervisors.
• Control departmental costs and allocate work according to staffing and volume requirements.
• Monitor turnover, customer service levels, CPU goals, and overall performance.
• Manage progressive counseling processes and ensure consistent treatment of associates.
• Build backup strategies through cross-training, volume analysis, and problem-solving.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of experience supervising 25 or more employees in a high-volume distribution center.
• At least 2 years of experience working with a Warehouse Management System.
• At least 6 months of experience with the physical activities required for the role, including standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, climbing, reaching, and keyboarding.
