Apartment Maintenance Technician - The Debra Metrowest

What you will do

• Complete apartment turns and prepare homes for new resident move-ins.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and replace plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, carpentry, and other building systems.
• Respond to resident service requests and deliver professional customer service.
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and additional maintenance duties based on community needs.
• Coordinate with vendors, support quality control, and assist with move-in and move-out inspections.
• Share technical knowledge and help develop less experienced maintenance team members when applicable.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of facilities, building, apartment, or related maintenance experience.
• Proficiency in at least two skilled trades, such as plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC, or carpentry.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, rotating on-call coverage, and other schedules required for community operations.
• Reliable transportation and availability to respond to emergency service requests during after-hours rotations.
• Ability to lift materials, move equipment, climb stairs and ladders, and work indoors and outdoors.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
