Building Engineer

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs for building systems, equipment, vehicles, grounds, and related infrastructure.
• Inspect and maintain fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing, and building automation systems to meet design and environmental requirements.
• Provide concierge-style customer service to tenants, internal teams, and external partners.
• Follow applicable building codes, regulations, safety requirements, government directives, and company procedures.
• Perform contract-related work such as landscaping, snow removal, HVAC, plumbing, and cleaning.

Requirements

• Three years of experience in commercial building operations, property management, or a related industry preferred.
• Thorough understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building automation systems.
• High school diploma, GED, or trade school diploma required.
• EPA Universal Certification required within 90 days of employment.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams; ability to read plans and prints and use standard industry tools.
• Reliable transportation, ability to lift 50 pounds or more, and ability to work on stairs, ladders, roofs, crawl spaces, and other confined areas.
