Senior Packaging Engineer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional packaging development from concept through commercialization.
• Develop project plans, timelines, sequencing, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Identify and implement new packaging materials, technologies, and processes.
• Drive packaging initiatives for new products and product improvements.
• Optimize packaging efficiency, cost, quality, product protection, user experience, and environmental performance.
• Mentor team members, facilitate brainstorming, resolve cross-functional challenges, and support standardized processes and data accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial design, or relevant packaging engineering experience.
• At least 8 years of progressive packaging engineering experience, preferably in consumer products or manufacturing.
• Professional English proficiency in written and verbal communication is required.
• Strong knowledge of packaging materials, manufacturing methods, and performance testing standards such as ISTA and ASTM.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects, manage ambiguity, make timely decisions, and deliver results under pressure.
• Valid US visa and willingness to travel domestically and internationally are required.
