Execution and Start-up Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site at the Mexico City General Office, Interlomas, Lerma, and the plant or contractor plant; requires 2–3 plant visits

What you will do

• Lead site initiative execution and start-up activities from planning through delivery.
• Coordinate with technical readiness, operations, plant multifunctional teams, and contract manufacturers.
• Ensure execution meets internal controls, safety, quality assurance, timeline, and compliance requirements.
• Lead technical qualifications, health checks, risk assessments, schedule integration, and operational validation plans.
• Drive loss elimination, continuous improvement PDCA cycles, cost forecasting, and project efficiency initiatives.
• Train and qualify start-up teams and transfer knowledge to operations.

Requirements

• Graduated engineer.
• Project management and manufacturing operations experience or knowledge.
• Manufacturing start-up leadership and risk management analysis skills.
• Proficiency with Office Suite tools, including Excel and Project.
• Knowledge of loss elimination methodologies.
• Strong leadership, team coordination, communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with digitalization.
• Familiarity with supply chain and procurement processes, including Procure-to-Pay basics.
• Knowledge of clean design or clean room engineering.
