Underground General Foreman Supervisor

Location: On-site in Tulare, California, US; work may extend throughout the SCE service territory and requires up to 10% travel and field work. Relocation does not apply.

Salary: $154,000–$231,000 per year

What you will do

• Supervise distribution crews installing, removing, maintaining, and repairing underground distribution and communication systems.
• Review daily construction plans and material requirements, conduct site inspections, and verify safe work methods.
• Coordinate daily activities and short- and long-term projects with internal and external customers.
• Enforce safety, environmental, construction, accounting, and material-management standards in the field.
• Act as a duty supervisor for after-hours outages and emergency repairs, including commissioning and testing before re-energization.
• Provide training, development opportunities, and performance feedback to employees and crew members.

Requirements

• At least one year of combined experience performing or supervising underground and overhead construction, maintenance, or operation of an electrical distribution system.
• Experience must include distribution outages and switching procedures.
• Valid Class C driver's license.
• Ability to work on-site at an SCE facility or in the field and travel throughout the SCE service territory as required.
• Ability to protect physical, financial, cybersecurity, customer, proprietary, and confidential information assets.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of electricity fundamentals, electrical circuitry, and electrical equipment operation.
• Experience with State General Orders 95 and 128.
• Ability to provide clear written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions.
• Strong collaboration skills and dedication to safe, skilled work.
