Branch Manager (Banking)

Location: Fully onsite in Carlsbad, California, United States

Salary: $90,000–$105,000 per year, with potential performance-based incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Lead, manage, coach, and develop branch associates while maintaining appropriate staffing levels.
• Drive growth by developing new relationships and expanding existing consumer and business relationships.
• Manage branch P&L, portfolios, expenses, and established growth targets.
• Ensure efficient branch operations and consistently satisfactory audit results.
• Partner with Retail and cross-functional bank leaders to deliver solutions aligned with business strategy.
• Build long-term relationships with consumers, businesses, public figures, and charitable organizations in the local community.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 3 years of banking experience, including consumer lending and exposure to business lending origination.
• At least 2 years of banking or retail management experience, including team leadership, coaching, supervision, hiring, termination, and performance management.
• Strong knowledge of banking products and services, consumer lending, deposit and loan portfolio management, and small-business banking.
• Compliance with applicable federal, state, and local consumer protection laws, including SAFE Act registration and renewal requirements.
• Must work fully onsite at the Carlsbad, California location. The role requires registration as a Bank MLO for open-end mortgage transactions and does not authorize closed-end MLO activities.

• Associate’s, bachelor’s, vocational, or technical degree in banking, business, or a related field.
• Membership in local community organizations and demonstrated community leadership.
