Branch Manager - Buffalo Grove (Banking)

Location: Buffalo Grove, IL; office-based role. Applicants must be currently authorized to work full time in the United States.

Salary: $75,000–$100,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for an incentive compensation plan.

What you will do

• Manage the branch’s sales, service, operations, and financial performance.
• Lead, coach, recruit, and develop branch colleagues while maintaining appropriate staffing.
• Manage high-value consumer and business customer portfolios and deepen relationships through referrals and proactive business development.
• Drive customer acquisition, sales and service opportunities across branch and digital channels.
• Build internal, business, and community partnerships in the local market.
• Maintain compliance with operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED plus at least one year of goal-driven retail sales leadership experience, or a bachelor’s degree.
• Knowledge of banking, investments, consumer lending, business banking, sales leadership, customer service, and process management.
• Ability to lead branch sales, service, operations, and financial performance.
• Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, coaching, and colleague development skills.
• Comfort with mobile services, online banking, and other branch technology.
• Fingerprinting and additional background checks are required under NMLS regulations; immigration sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree and previous management experience.
• Knowledge of consumer and business deposit products.
• Ability to influence, inspire, and motivate colleagues to improve retention.
