Associate Financial Advisor (Mandarin/Cantonese)

What you will do

• Meet with personal and small business clients to understand their priorities and provide personalized financial, investment, credit, and banking solutions.
• Manage a portfolio of mortgage clients and deepen client relationships.
• Build relationships through networking, marketing outreach, client calls, and community and banking centre events.
• Identify growth opportunities and refer clients to Imperial Service, Business Banking, and other appropriate partners.
• Introduce clients to mobile banking applications and help them manage their banking needs digitally.

Requirements

• Mandarin or Cantonese language capability is required for the role.
• 2–3 years of experience providing financial advice and achieving sales results through advice-based conversations.
• Current accreditation and good standing in a Mutual Funds License through the Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds in Canada.
• Must meet eligibility requirements for CIRO-MFD licensing.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and, where applicable, hold a valid work or study permit.
• Strong client service, critical thinking, goal planning, digital literacy, and regulatory knowledge.

Nice to have

• Current accreditation and good standing in CFSA (Certificate of Financial Services Advice).
