Continuous Improvement Co-Op (Manufacturing)

Location: Billerica, Massachusetts, United States; onsite, Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.

Salary: $20–$30 per hour, depending on skills and experience.

What you will do

• Improve processes and reduce manufacturing costs across Assembly, Flush Room, and Warehouse operations.
• Assist with Kaizen workshops, including documentation.
• Implement 5S activities and participate in Gemba walks.
• Support productivity savings calculations and improvement projects.
• Use root cause analysis tools to investigate process issues.
• Maintain TDM boards and related documentation.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's program in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Junior standing in the relevant degree program.
• One year of experience in Continuous Improvement.
• Available for 40 hours per week onsite from January through June 2027.
• Familiarity with university requirements for participation in a co-op program.
• Must not require hirify.global immigration sponsorship now or in the future, including H-1B, TN, or STEM OPT sponsorship.

• Expected graduation in 2028 or 2029.
