Continuous Improvement Leader

Location: Boulder, Colorado, United States; onsite role.

Salary: $120,000–$135,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead the site continuous improvement program to improve quality, productivity, efficiency, cost, and operational performance.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for Lean Manufacturing, 6S, and structured problem-solving practices.
• Develop and analyze operational metrics, performance dashboards, yield data, and Cost of Poor Quality indicators.
• Lead A3 projects, Kaizen events, process mapping, value stream analysis, and cross-functional improvement initiatives.
• Establish governance, reporting, action tracking, and effectiveness monitoring for improvement programs.
• Coach leaders, supervisors, and employees on Lean principles, metrics, and structured problem solving.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Quality, Manufacturing, Business, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience leading continuous improvement, operational excellence, Lean manufacturing, quality, or process improvement initiatives in a manufacturing or operational environment.
• Experience using data analysis, metrics, and performance dashboards to identify opportunities and deliver measurable improvements.
• Strong experience with A3, PDCA, 5 Why, Root Cause Analysis, or similar structured problem-solving methods.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams, manage multiple initiatives, and drive projects to completion with minimal direction.
• Visa sponsorship is not available. The role involves information subject to ITAR.

Nice to have

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent certification.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Minitab, or similar tools.
• Experience facilitating Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and process improvement workshops.
• Experience implementing 6S, Lean Manufacturing, and Operational Excellence programs in a regulated industry.
