Full Stack Software Architect (Sr. Consultant), Generative AI (Generative AI)

Location: Bellevue, Washington, United States; at least 3 days per week in the office required

Salary: $173,100–$276,800 USD per year, plus potential bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Architect, build, and scale enterprise-grade Generative AI and agentic applications.
• Own major GenAI subsystems, lead design reviews, define reusable production patterns, and mentor I4/I5 engineers.
• Develop full-stack applications with React frontends and secure, resilient backend services using Python, Node.js, and/or Java.
• Build agent orchestration, tool execution, API integrations, retrieval pipelines, human approval flows, guardrails, and enterprise system integrations.
• Implement LLM capabilities with OpenAI and Anthropic SDKs, including prompt orchestration, function calling, structured outputs, model routing, and evaluation.
• Deliver cloud-native systems with containers, CI/CD, automated testing, observability, monitoring, governance, and operational automation.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years with an advanced degree, or 2+ years with a PhD; alternatively, 11+ years without a degree.
• At least 8 years designing, building, and operating complex distributed software systems in production.
• Strong experience in software architecture, distributed systems, API design, cloud-native platforms, and data-intensive applications.
• Hands-on experience with React and backend development using Python, Node.js, Java, or similar languages.
• Experience with cloud platforms, containers, CI/CD systems, and observability tooling.
• Strong communication skills for translating complex technical concepts to business stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, RAG architectures, agentic systems, or AI-enabled workflow automation.
• Knowledge of agent frameworks, memory systems, tool orchestration, MCP, and A2A.
• Experience driving technical strategy, cross-functional AI initiatives, proof-of-concepts, and enterprise rollouts.
