Research and Development Solution Architect (Digital Lab Operations)

Location: Morristown, NJ or Cambridge, MA; onsite. Applicants must be US or Puerto Rico residents.

Salary: $133,500–$192,833 per year

What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of solutions for Digital Lab Operations Research and CMC Operations.
• Lead the Lab In the Loop implementation with the In Silico Research organization.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and Digital Labs Operations and CMC experts to define functional and technical requirements.
• Develop reusable services, simplify existing architecture, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Establish technology strategy, standards, and current and target-state architecture roadmaps.
• Evaluate products and costs during supplier selection and ensure interoperable, operable solutions.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of experience in solution architecture, IT solution design, development, and optimization.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Understanding of Digital Labs Operations and CMC workflows, IT technologies, data types, and ontologies in R&D.
• Experience with Snowflake, GitHub, IICS, Python, OpenShift, React, SQL, AWS, and Azure.
• Experience designing compliant solutions under GxP, HIPAA, and GDPR requirements.
• Strong communication, vendor relationship management, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
