Salary: $220,000–$280,000 annually
Company
is developing and operating uranium enrichment services in the United States to restore domestic nuclear fuel production.
What you will do
- Lead site readiness for the Paducah plant, including staffing, training, and organizational build-out.
- Build and manage the site leadership team and plant workforce, including ongoing talent development.
- Establish a culture of safety, accountability, performance, and workforce engagement.
- Manage the transition from construction through commissioning, acceptance activities, and Operational Readiness Reviews.
- Oversee operations, maintenance, engineering, regulatory, and business functions once the plant is operational.
- Coordinate with regulators, customers, community stakeholders, site visitors, and corporate leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or a technical field.
- 15+ years of overall experience, including significant senior plant leadership experience.
- At least 5 years of management experience in the nuclear industry or a nuclear-related field, or 10 years in another highly regulated industrial environment.
- Experience building and leading teams and establishing organizational culture at scale.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance and access authorization.
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends as necessary.
Nice to have
- Experience in uranium enrichment, fuel fabrication, or another NRC- or DOE-licensed facility.
- Experience standing up a new facility or transitioning a plant from construction and startup into operations.
- Experience in a fast-paced, resource-constrained, or startup environment.
- Advanced degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
