Virtual Teller / ITM Specialist (Banking)

Location: Onsite in Hoover, Alabama; the position title references Birmingham, Alabama. Applicants must be authorized to work full-time in the United States.

What you will do

• Process deposits, loan payments, withdrawals, transfers, balance inquiries, and other teller transactions through Interactive Teller Machines.
• Assist customers by video, answer questions, research accounts, resolve discrepancies, and provide follow-up when needed.
• Explain banking products and services and identify solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Complete account maintenance, including address changes, online banking access unlocks, and debit card limit updates.
• Complete compliance and role-specific training while improving ITM workflows and customer experience.
• Protect confidential customer information and represent the bank professionally.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
• Strong customer service background.
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively through video, verbally, and in writing.
• Ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment, manage fluctuating demands, and remain calm in difficult situations.
• Ability to use sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential account information.
• Must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States; immigration sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with virtual communication technologies such as Skype, FaceTime, or video conferencing.
• Ability to become a subject matter expert in digital delivery channels.
• Initiative, strong time management, and willingness to support team goals.
