Operations Manager (Hospitality)

Location: Philadelphia and Washington, DC; regular travel between cafés in both cities is required.

Salary: $110,000–$130,000 annual base salary

What you will do

• Lead café operations across Washington, DC and Philadelphia.
• Build, coach, and develop a high-performing team of General Managers.
• Recruit leaders, manage performance and employee relations, and deliver consistent training.
• Oversee hospitality, food safety, cleanliness, service quality, and brand standards across cafés.
• Own district sales, labor, profitability, staffing, and scheduling performance.
• Partner with headquarters teams and local communities to implement initiatives and grow customer loyalty.

Requirements

• 5+ years of operational leadership experience in hospitality, retail, or another fast-growing consumer business.
• Experience leading multiple locations and developing managers.
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly between stores in Washington, DC and Philadelphia.
• Strong operational, financial, business, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborative, hands-on leadership style with the ability to coach, make decisions, and lead through change.
• Full-time schedule of 50 hours per week, availability for 5 days, and availability for 2 peak days, usually Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.
