Director, Medical Insights Platform Lead (AI)

Location: Hybrid, requiring work on site 2–3 days per week. Locations include New York City, Collegeville, Cambridge, Groton, Montreal, and hirify.global sites in Europe.

Annual base salary: $176,600–$294,300, plus a 20% bonus target and eligibility for a share-based long-term incentive program.

What you will do

• Own the technical architecture and build execution of the global InsightXplorer medical insights platform.
• Sequence platform roadmap work while balancing technical dependencies with regional and business priorities.
• Translate stakeholder needs into technical requirements and scalable product capabilities.
• Coordinate with Digital & Technology, Data Governance, hosting, and infrastructure partners to resolve technical obstacles.
• Evaluate new data sources, methods, and AI approaches, moving suitable innovations from experimentation into production.
• Translate platform capabilities for regional stakeholders and support enablement and change management during releases.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical, life sciences, or technology industry.
• Experience architecting, building, or leading data or analytics platforms, including translating technical decisions into business and scientific value.
• Experience evaluating and piloting data sources, methods, or AI and analytics approaches for production readiness.
• Ability to lead technical platform work through influence across matrixed and cross-functional teams.
• Permanent U.S. work authorization is required for U.S.-based positions; U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience building a self-service analytics or data platform from the ground up.
• Hands-on proficiency with Tableau, Dataiku, or Python-based machine learning frameworks.
