Technical Program Manager, Public Sector (AI)

Location: Dayton, OH, United States; ability to work at a cleared facility in the greater Boston area three or more days per week is required, with at least 25% travel.

Base salary: $138,400–$208,000 USD per year, plus potential equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead delivery of agentic workflows and AI systems for national security and other public sector customers.
• Own or support customer account plans, triage technical issues, and manage long-term customer health.
• Use data, analytics, and technical expertise to align internal resources and create customer-facing tools.
• Transition AI/ML technologies into operational public sector products despite undefined or ambiguous requirements.
• Partner with engineering, operations, product, and public sector teams to build solutions for computer vision and generative AI use cases.
• Lead cross-functional teams, address engineering problems, and make customer success repeatable.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• 3+ years of experience in stakeholder management or customer-facing roles.
• Technical background in computer science, statistics, engineering, or a related area.
• Deep understanding of generative AI and ML fundamentals, including RAG, evaluations, and agent orchestration.
• Structured, analytics-driven problem-solving and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work at a cleared facility in the greater Boston area at least three days per week and willingness to travel at least 25% of the time, with occasional periods of 50% travel.

Nice to have

• Aerospace manufacturing experience, including CAD product lifecycle management, configuration management, engineering drawing standards, or digital twins.
• Experience with legacy aircraft sustainment or maintenance, repair, and overhaul programs.
• Experience at an API technology company or managing technical customers through an API.
• Proficiency in Python or another programming language.
