AI Program Manager

Location: Remote, with a requirement to be local and able to go onsite in the DC metro area, including Maryland and Virginia.

Salary: $155,000–$180,000 annual salary

What you will do

• Own end-to-end technical project plans, translating product roadmaps into resourced delivery milestones.
• Coordinate Engineering, Sales, Delivery, and the PMO to manage dependencies and unblock initiatives.
• Establish project management processes including status reporting, sprint planning, risk registers, and delivery tracking.
• Translate system architecture, APIs, and AI/ML capabilities for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Coordinate customer success, onboarding, product releases, and deployments across concurrent workstreams.
• Identify delivery risks and improve project management tools, processes, and team rituals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong technical background in AI/ML, architecture, APIs, and system design.
• Experience managing technical projects or programs from planning through delivery.
• Experience with SaaS products, developer-focused tools, Agile methodologies, Jira, and Linear.
• Active Top Secret clearance and U.S. work eligibility are required; applicants must be local to and able to go onsite in the DC metro area, including Maryland and Virginia.
• Strong communication skills and experience translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience deploying software products in air-gapped environments.
• Understanding of AI model deployment, scalability, and infrastructure challenges.
• Experience as an early technical program or project management hire at a startup.
• Familiarity with NIST 800-53/171, FedRAMP, CMMC, SSPs, and POA&Ms.
