TL;DR
Technical Program Manager, Public Sector (AI): Delivering agentic workflows and AI systems for national security customers, with an accent on generative AI, machine learning, analytics, and customer-focused technical program leadership. Focus on transitioning ambiguous AI/ML requirements into operational products, coordinating cross-functional teams, and solving complex engineering and reliability challenges.

Location: Greater Boston area, Massachusetts; work at a cleared facility at least three days per week. Requires at least 25% travel, with occasional surge periods of up to 50%.

Base salary: $138,400–$249,000 USD annually, plus potential equity and benefits.

What you will do

  • Lead and coordinate delivery of agentic workflows and AI systems for public sector and national security customers.
  • Own or support customer account plans, triage technical issues, and manage long-term customer health.
  • Use data, analytics, and technical expertise to align engineering, operations, product, and public sector teams.
  • Transition AI/ML technologies into operational products and solutions despite ambiguous requirements.
  • Build solutions for government use cases in computer vision and generative AI.
  • Identify repeatable approaches to customer success and address engineering problems with product development teams.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance required.
  • At least 3 years of experience in stakeholder management or customer-facing roles.
  • Technical background in computer science, statistics, engineering, or a related field.
  • Deep understanding of generative AI and ML fundamentals, including RAG, evaluations, and agent orchestration.
  • Structured, analytics-driven problem-solving skills and excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work at a cleared facility in the greater Boston area at least three days per week and travel at least 25% of the time.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing, CAD product lifecycle management, configuration management, engineering drawing standards, or digital twins.
  • Experience with legacy aircraft sustainment or maintenance, repair, and overhaul programs.
  • Experience at an API technology company or managing technical customers through an API.
  • Proficiency in Python or another programming language.
