HVAC/R Equipment Technician

Location: Primarily at hirify.global restaurants and field locations in the Brandon, FL area; remote work is permitted in the Brandon, FL area when not working at a hirify.global location.

Salary: $20.67–$40.38 per hour, plus a target annual bonus of 7.5% of annualized base salary.

What you will do

• Perform reactive repairs on restaurant equipment and property based on work orders.
• Identify critical issues during restaurant visits and create corresponding work orders.
• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance and document additional repairs.
• Organize daily workloads and complete work orders according to priority codes in My TechConnect.
• Maintain parts and company-owned tool inventories and follow warranty procedures.
• Report equipment, property, and maintenance conditions to support capital planning and provide equipment-operation and preventive-maintenance training.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of related general maintenance or repair experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Technical knowledge of electrical repair, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration.
• EPA Certification Type I and II.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders up to 30 feet, and perform kneeling, bending, twisting, and tool-handling work.
• Ability to work at Brandon-area restaurants and field locations, including in extreme climates; on-call rotations and overtime may be required.
