Senior Fullstack Engineers (Healthcare)

Location: NYC office with hybrid work and regular, consistent on-site presence required. Distributed team with offices in Vancouver.

hirify.global provides a platform for musculoskeletal provider groups and specialty clinics to improve patient acquisition, clinical workflows, revenue cycle operations, and ongoing patient engagement.

What you will do

• Build product screens using the internal component library.
• Design and implement contract-first API routes with schemas shared across frontend and backend.
• Model clinical and revenue cycle data in MongoDB and optimize queries as collections grow.
• Develop shared TypeScript packages used across the monorepo.
• Take features from specification through production and support them after launch.
• Integrate with EHRs and external healthcare systems across the revenue cycle.

Requirements

• 5+ years building and shipping production web applications, including 3+ years of healthcare revenue cycle management experience.
• Strong TypeScript experience across the stack, with frontend experience in Vue or React.
• Backend experience with Node, Express, MongoDB, and Mongoose.
• Experience designing scalable queries and schemas for large clinical, patient, and financial datasets.
• Experience with HL7, FHIR, EHR connectivity, auditable systems, financial transaction states, configurable state machines, and rule engines.
• Ability to work in a hybrid NYC office environment with regular on-site presence.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of clinical workflows, care pathways, and healthcare payment processes.
• Experience with the OpenAI API or similar LLM tools.
• Monorepo, realtime or streaming, durable workflow orchestration, cloud, analytics, or EDI/X12 experience.
