Senior Full Stack Engineer (React/Node)

Location: Must reside in and be able to perform work in the United States; must have lived in the United States for 3 of the last 5 years.

What you will do

• Analyze complex business and engineering challenges and design practical, reliable end-to-end solutions.
• Build modern, scalable web applications, microservices-based APIs, architectures, and data stores.
• Develop and deliver product features iteratively with multiple small agile teams.
• Design user experiences based on user needs, accessibility, performance, and cross-device compatibility.
• Prototype alternative solutions, validate ideas, and explain complex technical concepts to stakeholders.
• Champion modern development practices, mentor team members, and support test-driven development.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain a U.S. Federal Position of Trust clearance designation.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience and at least 8 years of total experience.
• 5+ years with HTML5, TypeScript, JavaScript, Bootstrap, LESS, SASS, and CSS, including 5+ years with React.
• 3+ years building scalable Node.js applications with Express.js, Nest.js, or similar frameworks.
• Experience with REST APIs, NoSQL databases such as DocumentDB or MongoDB, Docker, AWS, and microservices.
• Experience with automated testing, Git, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, modern build tools, and agile collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with Vue, Angular, or other modern frontend frameworks.
• AWS certification.
• Experience with Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef, or Ant for infrastructure as code.
• Public code, open-source contributions, or professional profiles demonstrating relevant work.
