Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack/Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid in Helsinki, Finland; office attendance required at least 1–2 days per week

Salary: €6,000–€7,500 per month, depending on experience, technical expertise, ownership scope, and delivery capacity.

What you will do

• Build and deliver scalable, highly reliable full-stack features for the gamified phishing platform.
• Develop training experiences for evolving cybersecurity threats, including deepfake and AI-driven attack simulations.
• Extend the simulation engine to model multi-channel attacks across email, chat, and phone.
• Design and ship gamification features such as leaderboards, achievements, and learning paths.
• Scale systems that were not originally designed for the current user volume while contributing to long-term architectural evolution.
• Collaborate with Product Management and engineering peers to plan, scope, and execute end-to-end projects.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with TypeScript and React.
• Experience building backend services and APIs with Node.js and MongoDB.
• Experience building and maintaining large-scale systems used by real end users.
• Consistent delivery, strong ownership, high execution capacity, and a builder mindset.
• Strong product thinking with the ability to balance technical quality, user value, and business impact.
• Curiosity about AI-assisted workflows and teams of software agents working in parallel; around five years of industry experience is expected, though impact and ownership matter more than tenure.
