Controller (Finance)

Location: Peterborough, Ontario, Canada

Salary: CAD 95,000–138,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead monthly close activities, financial statement preparation, general ledger oversight, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Report reliable financial and operational performance information to site leadership.
• Lead P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow forecasting and improve analytical methodologies.
• Analyze revenue, expenses, and business drivers, providing recommendations for improvement.
• Enhance controls, financial transparency, efficiency, and integration initiatives.
• Facilitate statutory and financial audits and support special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required; MBA and/or CPA preferred.
• At least five years of financial or accounting management experience.
• Experience partnering in a matrix environment and strong analytical and project management skills.
• Proficiency with an ERP software package; Infor Visual LN experience strongly preferred.
• Expertise in Excel, PowerPoint, and a financial consolidation system such as Hyperion.
• Minimal travel required.
