Accounting and Financial Systems, Lead

Location: Toronto, Canada; flexible hybrid work model. Eligibility to work for hirify.global Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity is required.

Salary: CAD 95,000–105,000 per year, plus eligibility for a short-term incentive plan.

What you will do

• Lead and maintain financial systems, including JDE, ReportsNow, and Concur Expense.
• Manage system upgrades, financial systems IT audit support, and implementation of automation tools.
• Create and maintain external, government, audit, grant, and quarterly financial reports.
• Support monthly financial accounting through accrual preparation and financial data validation.
• Contribute to projects involving enterprise accounting software and complete special assignments.

Requirements

• Experience supporting or leading financial system implementations and enhancements.
• Working knowledge of Canadian GAAP, including ASPE and IFRS.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; financial modeling experience is an asset.
• Business degree with a major in accounting or finance, and/or CPA designation or progress toward CPA.
• Strong troubleshooting, critical thinking, time management, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-influence skills.
• Eligibility to work for hirify.global Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity.

Nice to have

• Experience with JD Edwards, ReportsNow, and Concur Expense.
• Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint.
• Financial modeling experience.
