What you will do

• Maintain general ledgers and supporting schedules for private equity funds using Investran.
• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, and ASPE.
• Process capital activity calculations and notices, including capital calls and distributions.
• Perform NAV calculations and prepare investor-level reporting and carried interest computations.
• Review and reconcile bank accounts, intercompany balances, and investment transactions.
• Mentor junior team members and support annual audit and tax processes.

Requirements

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in the fund administration industry or audit.
• Proven experience working with private equity structures.
• Experience with Investran or other professional accounting software.
• Strong understanding of investment fund structures and private markets accounting principles.
• Must be based in Toronto, ON, Canada

Nice to have

• Professional accounting designation (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred or in progress.
