Senior Financial Analyst, Technology Finance (12 months)

Location: Toronto, ON; hybrid arrangement with 1–3 days per week on-site at Toronto-81 Bay

What you will do

• Support annual financial planning, quarterly forecasting, and project-related funding activities across the Technology portfolio.
• Perform month-end close activities, including general ledger analysis, journal entries, validation checks, exception management, and stakeholder reporting.
• Analyze financial and operating information, identify risks and issues, and provide recommendations for business decisions.
• Build collaborative relationships across Technology, Finance, and governance functions.
• Prepare executive-level materials and communicate financial insights clearly.
• Improve automation and process efficiency, including support for SAP migration-related changes.

Requirements

• Experience in financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis.
• Strong Excel skills and financial modelling capability.
• Ability to investigate complex problems, interpret detailed information, and apply critical thinking.
• Clear communication skills for working with finance users, business partners, stakeholders, and executive audiences.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada and, where applicable, hold a valid work or study permit.
• Ability to work in the stated hybrid arrangement in Toronto.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of banking or hirify.global financial processes.
• Experience with SAP, Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, GL:DM, Essbase-based platforms, CMR, or OnePlan.
