Associate Producer, Commerce Studios (Contract)

Location: New York, United States; hybrid with a minimum of four in-office days per week

Salary: $65,000–$75,000 per year

What you will do

• Coordinate logistics for complex shoots and live commerce content across NBC News brands and platforms.
• Conduct pre-interviews, scout locations, script taped and live segments, and ensure required edit elements are captured.
• Collaborate with graphic artists, editors, Commerce HQ, Partnerships, Legal & Standards, and other internal teams.
• Research, test, curate, and pitch products for shoppable programming across multiple platforms.
• Manage external product inquiries, internal prop needs, special projects, tracking documents, and creative problem-solving.
• Work occasional Saturdays; schedules may follow Tuesday–Saturday or Monday–Friday patterns depending on the week.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience creating content.
• Four-year degree in journalism, marketing/business, or communications, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Outlook, Avid, Slack, and Google Docs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
• Unrestricted employment authorization to work in the United States is required.
• Strong organization, deadline management, research, storytelling, creative thinking, and understanding of digital video trends.

• Interest in shoppable programming, product discovery, and current consumer trends.
• Understanding of hirify.global News Group platforms and shows for sponsorship deliverables.
