Location: New York, NY, United States; hybrid schedule requiring three days in the office per week. Must be willing to work varied shifts as news changes and have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.

Salary: $93,000–$110,000 yearly

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end production of podcast episodes, including pitching, research, guest booking, scripting, recording, editing, and publishing.
• Produce episodes for news and politics podcasts, shaping structure, host preparation, editorial material, and recording quality.
• Book studios and crews, coordinate with television teams, and distribute microphone kits to remote guests.
• Edit audio and video cuts, oversee sound design, provide mix notes, and coordinate final mixes with engineers and video editors.
• Write episode metadata, publish audio and video episodes, and partner with digital, social, and marketing teams on distribution.
• Maintain show calendars, produce bonus content, track performance metrics, and respond to podcasting trends and evolving unit needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• At least five years of audio production experience, preferably in podcasting.
• At least one year of video editing experience, preferably for YouTube podcasting.
• Technical expertise in ProTools, Descript, and Premiere.
• Strong understanding of news and politics, journalism ethics, and current video and podcasting trends.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under deadline and work varied shifts as news changes.
