Senior Software Engineer (Healthcare)

Location: Mountain View, CA; Los Angeles, CA; New York City, NY; San Francisco, CA

Salary: $180K–$230K estimated base salary, plus equity.

hirify.global is building an AI-native healthcare platform covering clinical documentation, patient and revenue workflows, claims processing, and integrations with more than 60 EHRs.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end features across claims, appointments, and payments-posting surfaces, from design through production rollout.
• Build production-ready full-stack functionality with meaningful tests, clean interfaces, and scalable data models.
• Develop fast, keyboard-driven workflows for data-dense screens handling millions of claims.
• Partner with product, design, and billing operations to improve biller workflows.
• Implement dashboards, logging, alerting, and other observability capabilities to identify and resolve production issues quickly.
• Review code and designs, shape technical standards, and help onboard and develop teammates.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and shipping full-stack applications in production.
• Strong frontend skills, including maintainable UI development and diagnosing rendering issues in data-dense screens.
• Ability to build backend APIs with filtering and pagination over sizable datasets and reason about the underlying queries.
• Sound technical judgment, debugging skills, and experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting.
• Clear communication, ownership, bias for action, and customer focus.
• Ability to work from one of the listed United States locations.

Nice to have

• Experience with healthcare billing data, EDI X12 transactions, clearinghouses, ERAs/EOBs, or denial codes.
• Experience shipping LLM-powered features into production workflows.
• Exposure to analytical or OLAP stores alongside transactional databases.
• Product intuition and experience influencing UX/UI decisions.
• Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare, finance, or insurance.
