Staff Engineer - Agentic AI

Location: USA - Remote

Salary: $132,600–$182,250 per year, plus a target annual bonus of 20% of base salary.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end development of an enterprise-scale agentic AI platform for autonomous, multi-step workflows.
• Design scalable architectures integrating LLMs, agent frameworks, AI services, enterprise data, and existing platforms.
• Build retrieval, memory, tool-use, orchestration, and context-engineering pipelines using technologies such as MCP, A2A, and function calling.
• Establish prompt, context, code, evaluation, regression, observability, guardrail, and CI/CD practices for LLM and agent lifecycles.
• Lead technical design reviews and collaborate with enterprise and solution architects on security, resilience, latency, scalability, and token economics.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical input on hiring, performance, and promotions without direct people management.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of progressively complex experience building and scaling enterprise software systems, including recent hands-on GenAI or agentic AI production experience.
• Strong expertise in generative AI, transformer-based models, prompt and context engineering, RAG, GraphRAG, and agentic patterns such as ReAct, planner/executor, and multi-agent orchestration.
• Experience with GenAI frameworks including LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, or similar tools, plus model-serving and agent orchestration platforms.
• Experience with cloud architectures such as AWS Bedrock, GCP AI, or kore.ai; containerized and serverless deployments; and LLMOps practices.
• Background in AI data engineering, vector databases, hybrid search, reranking, knowledge graphs, embeddings, semantic layers, APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with multimodal models, function calling, structured output, RLHF/RLAIF, and multi-agent AI systems.
• Familiarity with LangSmith, LangFuse, Splunk, CloudWatch, automated red-teaming, and guardrail enforcement.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Data Science.
