General Manager (Optical)

Location: Wheat Ridge, Colorado, United States; onsite store role

What you will do

• Oversee daily store operations, including staffing, inventory, bookkeeping, planning, and policy enforcement.
• Lead, train, coach, and develop associates while managing recruitment, retention, scheduling, and performance feedback.
• Monitor store performance and deliver strong customer and patient experiences in partnership with the Doctor.
• Manage budgets, supplies, merchandising, marketing, promotions, and sales initiatives.
• Conduct audits, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with corporate, quality, service, and safety standards.
• Communicate with the District Manager and provide accurate operational reporting.

Requirements

• 5+ years of retail experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the optical industry preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and build strong associate relationships.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, customer service, and sales skills.
• Solid understanding of store operations and business performance.
• Optical license required in applicable states. Duties may vary according to state licensing requirements.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Optical industry knowledge.
• Supervising experience.
