General Manager (Coffee)

Location: New York City, US; onsite store leadership required

What you will do

• Lead, train, coach, mentor, and recruit the store team in collaboration with the People Team.
• Create staff schedules, cover scheduling gaps, and approve timecards and paid time off requests.
• Lead by example behind the bar for 50–70% of the week, delivering technically excellent food and beverage products and customer service.
• Maintain coffee, food, beverage, safety, cleanliness, presentation, and training standards.
• Own ordering, vendor relations, waste management, inventory counts, and inventory system compliance.
• Drive store sales, average order value, team engagement, local brand loyalty, and audit performance.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience managing and leading single-store operations in high-growth hospitality or consumer brands.
• Experience hiring, developing, and managing hospitality teams.
• Experience managing inventory and supply chain ordering.
• Strong knowledge of specialty coffee, espresso, and equipment is required.
• Full-time availability for 45 hours per week, with five days of availability and two peak days, usually Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.
• Strong decision-making, multitasking, and interpersonal communication skills.
