Vision Center Manager NL 1 (Optical)

Location: Goshen, Indiana, United States; onsite at the Walmart Supercenter

Hourly wage: $27.00–$37.00, plus potential performance-based bonuses.

Walmart operates a retail Vision Center providing eyewear products, optical services, and customer support.

What you will do

• Drive Vision Center sales through merchandise presentation, competitive pricing, inventory availability, budgeting, forecasting, and assessment of community needs.
• Supervise, hire, train, mentor, assign, recognize, and develop Vision Center Associates.
• Provide optical services, including customer consultation, product selection, measurements, prescription verification, minor frame repair, and equipment maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with company and legal requirements, confidentiality standards, safety controls, asset protection, and quality assurance processes.
• Resolve customer and Associate concerns under company policies, support the Open Door Policy, and build relationships with key stakeholders.
• Lead community outreach and promote customer service, belonging, integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Completion of two or more years of college, or one year of retail experience plus one year of supervisory experience, or two years of general work experience including one year of optical experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and rules.
• Experience supervising Associates is preferred.
