General Manager - Optical (Retail)

What you will do

• Oversee daily store operations, including staffing, inventory, bookkeeping, planning, and policy enforcement.
• Manage store sales, profitability, budgets, supplies, merchandising, and promotional initiatives.
• Recruit, schedule, train, coach, evaluate, and retain associates.
• Monitor performance and deliver high-quality customer and patient experiences.
• Partner with the Doctor to support patient care and conduct store audits.
• Maintain accurate reporting, associate records, and corporate, safety, quality, and service standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of retail experience; supervisory experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of the optical industry is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and build strong associate relationships.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and store operations skills.
• Some locations may require specific licenses or credentials under state law.
