General Manager (Optical)

What you will do

• Oversee daily store operations, including staffing, inventory, bookkeeping, planning, and policy enforcement.
• Lead, coach, train, recruit, and retain associates while creating schedules based on business needs and store traffic.
• Drive store sales, profitability, budgets, merchandising, marketing, and promotional initiatives.
• Monitor performance and deliver strong customer and patient experiences in partnership with the Doctor.
• Conduct store audits and maintain quality, service, merchandising, corporate, and safety standards.
• Report accurately to the District Manager and maintain associate records and compliance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of retail experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the optical industry preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and build strong associate relationships.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, customer service, and business performance skills.
• Some duties may require specific licenses or credentials under applicable state laws.
