General Manager - Optical

What you will do

• Oversee daily store operations, including staffing, inventory, bookkeeping, planning, and policy enforcement.
• Lead, train, coach, and develop associates while managing schedules, performance feedback, and retention.
• Drive store sales, profitability, budgets, merchandising, promotions, and business performance.
• Monitor customer and patient experiences and partner with the Doctor to support quality care.
• Conduct audits, maintain service and merchandising standards, and ensure facility and safety compliance.
• Communicate with the District Manager and maintain accurate reports, records, and associate files.

Requirements

• 5+ years of retail experience; supervisory experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of the optical industry is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and build strong associate relationships.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, customer service, and sales skills.
• Some locations may require specific licenses or credentials under state law.
