Licensed Optician (Part Time)

What you will do

• Dispense eyeglasses and contact lenses and provide product education.
• Train customers on contact lens insertion and removal.
• Deliver customer service while supporting sales goals and store objectives.
• Maintain patient records, manage order follow-up, and conduct weekly customer outreach.
• Support quality and operational standards by reducing remakes, following safety policies, and maintaining inventory and merchandising standards.
• Mentor Apprentice Opticians as permitted by law.

Requirements

• Active dispensing license required as required by the state.
• At least 3 years of related experience or training required.
• Strong customer service, communication, sales, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Professional, friendly, and comfortable working with a variety of people.

Nice to have

• Previous retail experience.
