Licensed Optician - Part Time

What you will do

• Dispense eyeglasses and contact lenses and train customers in contact lens insertion and removal.
• Provide patient care, product education, and exceptional customer service while meeting sales goals.
• Maintain accurate patient records, manage order follow-up, and conduct weekly customer outreach.
• Reduce remakes, follow safety standards, and support operational excellence.
• Manage inventory, merchandising standards, and store cleanliness.
• Mentor Apprentice Opticians as permitted by law.

Requirements

• Active dispensing license required as mandated by the state.
• 3+ years of related experience or training required.
• Strong customer service, communication, selling, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work professionally with a variety of customers in a busy retail environment.

• Previous retail experience.
