Partner Data Analyst - Life Science Partnerships (Healthcare Data)

Location: Seattle, WA; hybrid model with remote flexibility and at least one onsite meeting per year. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. Meetings are optimized for Pacific Time, with ad hoc meetings between 8am and 6pm PT.

Salary: $130,000–$160,000 per year, plus stock options.

What you will do

• Translate life sciences customers’ research questions into analytical approaches and study designs.
• Execute rapid-response analyses and deeper investigations using EHR and real-world data.
• Apply cohort design, bias mitigation, statistical methods, and real-world evidence principles.
• Lead customer-facing discussions, provide technical troubleshooting, and guide customers on platform workflows and research best practices.
• Support peer-reviewed publications, data quality investigations, and demonstrations of data reliability.
• Create enablement materials and provide customer feedback to inform the product roadmap.

Requirements

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in clinical research, epidemiology, biostatistics, data science, clinical informatics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a technical customer-facing role delivering research studies and analyses.
• 3+ years of experience analyzing EHR or other real-world data in life sciences, healthcare, CRO, or EHR data organizations.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, R, and/or Python, with experience analyzing large, multi-domain healthcare datasets using distributed computing.
• Strong understanding of real-world evidence, bias, confounding, cohort design, and statistical analysis.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to executive and technical audiences and independently drive multiple projects.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in epidemiology, biostatistics, health economics, or a related field.
• Experience with peer-reviewed publications, conference abstracts, causal inference, incomplete data, or observational research.
• Knowledge of regression, propensity score methods, Kaplan-Meier analysis, survival analysis, and longitudinal data analysis.
• Experience with Spark, PySpark, distributed data processing, or consulting-style customer engagements.
