What you will do

• Analyze large-scale genomic and multi-omics datasets (e.g., RNA-seq, scRNA-seq, WES/WGS, epigenetics) to identify biomarkers, therapeutic targets, and disease mechanisms.
• Apply advanced statistical methods, machine learning, and data-mining techniques to extract patterns from noisy biological data.
• Perform quality control, normalization, and batch correction across heterogeneous datasets.
• Design, optimize, and maintain robust, scalable bioinformatics pipelines with version-controlled, reproducible code.
• Integrate external biological databases with internal datasets.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to communicate computational and statistical findings to experimental biologists, clinicians, and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or M.S. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Data Science, Genomics, Biology, or another highly quantitative field.
• Proven experience handling genomic data; Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) data analysis is required.
• Advanced proficiency in R (e.g., Bioconductor, Tidyverse) and/or Python (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
• Experience with standard bioinformatics tools (alignment tools, variant callers, and single-cell toolkits such as Seurat/Scanpy).
• Strong experience applying AI in data science.
• Experience with cloud computing (AWS, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Singularity) is required to be a strong plus.
