Senior Data Scientist (Healthcare)

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio, United States, or remote within the US. Travel up to 20 days per year.

Base salary: $143,374–$210,544 per year.

What you will do

• Develop data products addressing provider growth, pricing, operations, marketing, campaign measurement, and customer attrition.
• Advance algorithmic pricing by modeling supply, demand, willingness-to-pay, and expected return on investment.
• Design systems that dynamically adjust prices as business conditions change.
• Build interpretability into pricing systems so price changes and exception decisions are explainable and consistent.
• Apply machine learning, statistical modeling, and constrained optimization to campaign goals and business constraints.
• Mentor and coach less experienced data science team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in applied statistics, computer science, economics, operations research, business analytics, information systems, or a related field.
• 6+ years of data science experience developing data products, deploying production models, and delivering analyses to stakeholders.
• Fluency in Python and SQL with end-to-end experience in data manipulation, analysis, visualization, model deployment, and pipeline orchestration.
• Advanced knowledge of predictive modeling, model validation and selection, network analysis, price elasticity estimation, and constrained optimization.
• Experience managing models through their lifecycle and monitoring model performance.
• Strong communication, consulting, critical-thinking, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s or doctoral degree in a related quantitative or technical field.
• Experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, value-based pricing, B2B pricing, or digital advertising.
• Experience with Snowflake, Cursor, Airflow, HEX, or Gurobi.
